Carp Fishing in France.Getting to usWe are Just south of the Haute Vienne and Dordogne border in the Aquitaine region of France. Airport connections and Motorways are easily accessible. By AirRyan air fly into nearby Haute Vienne airport of Limoges and Angouleme from Stanstead, Liverpool or Nottingham or Fly be from Exeter, Southampton to Limoges or Bergerac. Limoges is only a 40 minute drive from the airport, 90 minutes from Bergerac and 80 minutes to Angouleme. Alternatively Bordeaux at just over 2 hours. Early bookings guarantee seat availability and the cheapest fare. Pickups can be arranged given enough notice. Channel Crossings / Channel TunnelIf you prefer to drive there are many ferry services crossing the channel, or on a more frequent basis the Channel Tunnel. If you enjoy driving, the advantages are that you get to see more of France on the way, maybe stopping off for the night, and you get the convenience of your car. The distances below give you an idea of travel time. On the whole, French roads are good and traffic is light but you may have to pay a small toll if you chose to use any of the motorways.
